2017 Ohio State Fair Reserve Champion Ram

We saw this big guy at the Ohio State Fair and fell in love with him. He comes from great genetics - sired by Smoke (Homestead buck sired by Magnum 44). His dam is a Beer Money X Gehring 1211 mating. Gehring 1211 was sired by Yukon (Smokin' Joe son & Gunsmoke's sire) and dammed by Jayhawk, the reserve ewe at NAILE 2009. Alex gave us the opportunity to purchase half of him and we jumped at it. We took him home from the state fair and turned him in with the ewes. This ram is massive and correct! We are excited to see his first lamb crop.
